- Payment Error: If a transaction is processed in error due to a technical or system malfunction.
- Service Unavailability: If the service (such as online access or publication) is not delivered due to internal failure on the part of the journal company.
- Article Withdrawal Before Review: If a submitted manuscript is formally withdrawn in writing before the peer review process begins.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
- After the article has entered peer review, editing, or publication stages.
- Dissatisfaction with reviewer comments or editorial decisions.
- Delays caused by author’s inaction, incomplete submission, or communication lapses.
- Change of mind or decision after payment has been made.
4. Refund Request Procedure
To request a refund:
- Send a written request to accounts@semanjournal.org within 14 days of the transaction.
- Include proof of payment, reason for the request, and relevant transaction details.
- All valid refunds will be processed within 10–21 working days after verification and approval by the Accounts Department.
Refunds will be made through the same payment channel used for the original transaction.
5. Partial Refunds
Where applicable, partial refunds may be issued after deducting administrative or transaction processing charges.
6. Subscription and Access
Institutional or individual subscriptions once activated are non-refundable. However, access-related technical issues will be promptly resolved by our technical support team.
